Jordyn Hope

BSW, National trainer, Consultant, and Survivor Advocate

Jordyn Hope, BSW, is a national trainer, consultant, and survivor advocate specializing in Munchausen by Proxy Abuse (MBPA), also known as medical child abuse. Their work bridges lived experience and professional practice, helping multidisciplinary teams better recognize, investigate, and respond to this often-overlooked form of child maltreatment. Jordyn first shared their story publicly on The Doctors in 2019 and has since been featured by NBC’s Today Show, Business Insider, VICE, iHeartRadio, Trust Me Podcast, and other national platforms focused on child abuse awareness and survivor perspectives.

Through their practice, Flourishing Wildly, Jordyn provides survivor-centered training, consultation, and technical assistance to professionals across child welfare, healthcare, mental health, education, and advocacy settings. They have presented at conferences, professional trainings, and community events nationwide, reaching more than 2,000 participants. Jordyn’s work focuses on strengthening multidisciplinary responses, reducing systemic harm, and helping professionals build trauma-informed, survivor-centered practices that promote safety, trust, accountability, and healing.
