Chris Marino

For the past 13 years, Chris Marino has been committed to serving children, adolescents, and families as a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in community mental health, school, and private practice settings. Chris graduated from Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) with a Master’s in Professional Counseling and Rehabilitation, and has since been trained in multiple trauma-focused evidence-based treatments, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Modular Approach to Therapy for Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, or Conduct problems (MATCH-ADTC), Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI), Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Trauma and Schools (CBITS) and Bounce Back, and Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). Chris also has a passion for sharing his experience and knowledge of topics such as trauma-informed services, attachment-based theories, clinical interviewing, psychopathology, and social emotional learning, and has provided numerous trainings to agencies, schools, and other community organizations over the years.
