Protecting Child Victims’ Privacy and Safety Throughout an Investigation and Prosecution

With courts encouraging the unsealing of documents that previously remained under seal indefinitely; and offenders collecting and sharing information regarding child victims, including  “Where are they now” sections of offender group sites designed to provide real life updates about past child victims, protecting the privacy of child victims and witnesses is more important than ever.  This training will discuss strategies to protect privacy throughout a criminal investigation through prosecution and trial.
